What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is the study and practice of applying pressure to key areas of the feet, that correspond to various areas of the body. The process of reflexology allows the body to relax, helps increase circulation and can help the body enter a state of homeostasis.

When our bodies are in a state of homeostasis, it means that it is balanced and in harmony. This is the optimal condition to allow our bodies own immune system to function at its optimal performance.

Like Reiki, Reflexology is a non-invasive and safe technique that can be used on anyone. During a reflexology treatment, more than 14,000 nerves throughout the body are stimulated.

As with the body, the feet are also access points for the 7 Main Chakras. Starting from the Base (Bottom of our heel) and going upwards to our Crown ( Top of the Toes). During a Reflexology treatment, each of these areas are manipulated, helping them to align and balance. One specific spot that gets a lot of attention during a treatment is the Solar Plexus. It is our connection to our higher self and can be a very emotional portion of the treatment.

Reflexology is an amazingly powerful and Delicate healing method that is safe for people of All Ages and medical backgrounds.
